What is Astonia?
Astonia™ 3 is a massively multiplayer online role playing game (in short, MMORPG). Each player assumes the role of a battle-hardened warrior or a powerful mage. He or she enters the world of Astonia and begins to train for battle. The experience gained as characters solve quests, discover new places, and kill evil monsters, can be applied to raise any of a large number of attributes, skills and spells. Characters gain rank and power, qualifying them for better and more powerful equipment for the new and greater challenges that lie ahead...
Penislandia is a free, community-run server keeping this classic alive — powered by the open-source Astonia 3 Community Server. No subscriptions. No trial periods. Just the game as it was.
How to Start Playing
Unlike the old days, there is no 28-day trial and no US$ 9.95 monthly fee — the server is free to play.
- Download the client. Grab the latest Windows release of the community client from the Downloads page.
- Unpack it anywhere on your computer.
- Create your character. Ask in the community for an account, or reach out via the Support section below.
- Enter the world using the command line below.

Penislandia is based on the Astonia 3 engine by Daniel Brockhaus (brockhaus.org). Astonia 3 was originally developed by Daniel Brockhaus for Intent Software.
